Poster Session with Cheese and Wine

Cromdale Hall, EICC - 16.30hrs – 18.30hrs
Following the Functional Genomics Session of the EBRC Launch and ISAFG events there will be a cheese and wine reception from 16.30hrs - 18.30hrs held in the Cromdale Hall at the EICC. This social event will bring together delegates from both events and will provide an informal setting for networking opportunities between delegates. This reception is also an ideal occasion to view the posters in relaxed surroundings and delegates are also encouraged to visit the exhibitor stands (also located in the Cromdale Hall). The organisers of the EBRC launch hope that all delegates will join them in toasting this exciting new organisation. This event is open to all delegates and is included in the registration fee.

Conference Dinner and Ceilidh

The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh- 19.30hrs – Midnight
There will a 3 course dinner with wine followed by a Ceilidh (pronounced Kay-lay) band providing the music and a “caller” will be on hand to guide you through the traditional Scottish Dances. Get there early to see a demonstration on how the dances should be performed by professional Highland Dancers. The setting couldn’t be more fantastic, the Sir Walter Scott Suite in the Balmoral Hotel has the best views across the city towards Edinburgh Castle. A cash bar will be provided throughout the evening. The cost is £35 per person.
